The Club at Bear Hollow is a private members' sporting club on more than 5,000 Ozark acres north of Bentonville, with trout waters, long-range shooting ranges, upland hunts, clay grounds, and lodging. My team at Prisma authored the brand, and I led the full design pass on the club's website, turning a working but skeletal build into an experience that matches the land.

Designed From the Terrain Up

The brand speaks land first, never resort. I built a token-based design system on deep greens, warm linen, and a single gold accent, with EB Garamond, PP Gatwick, a mono for labels, and a script for the accents. Instead of stock textures, the site's contour patterns are generated from real elevation data at the property's own coordinates, so the topography behind every page is the actual ground.

The home page opens with a curtain-lift loader and a hero lockup of gold script over a giant serif wordmark, then moves through a count-up facts ledger, a scroll-brightened statement, and a pinned amenity index with drifting topo. Every image slot was filled with painted scenes matched to the club's existing art, all motion runs in a single vanilla animation loop, and the finished system ships with a living style guide for the client's team.
