Sam's Club: Instant Savings Book
Work done during my time at Prisma.
Pencils First, Then Everything Else
Each issue needs 30 to 40 approval-grade scene illustrations before a single photo is shot. I designed a Runway ML workflow that turns a written scene brief into a color comp and then a graphite pencil, a deliberately illustrative artifact that lets the client approve composition and product placement without debating final photography. A written house style, a documented failure playbook, and automated checks keep every scene consistent from proof to proof.
On the digital side I built a theme-mode component system in Figma so one ad reskins across seasonal palettes with a single switch, then wrote a custom plugin to fill, reskin, and export at volume. The September issue shipped 241 digital deliverables with zero text overflow and zero contrast failures, plus a 40-second social film that flips real book pages and reveals the pencil beneath the photograph.
